I am providing you with a detailed report on all the additional features that I would like to have implemented into the website.

Also if you feel the method of advertising on the homepage and directory can be improved in anyway, please do offer me your opinion/advice. If you know a better way of implementing the directory, then do offer me your suggestions.

Picture Gallery Catalogue

• An optional feature that sellers can pay for to add exposure to their auction!

Search Functionality

• Search for items by Title & Description, Item #, or Seller.
• Search all or within a selected category and then narrow your search based on: current, gallery items, new items today, ending items today, going, going, gone today, completed items.

Administration Control Panel

• Users are charged fees in a transactional/invoice system. I will determine the price and fees for everything from posting an item, to extra features that users can pay for! Online user payments can interface with PayPal or accept and track checks.

• Display link to categories within, current price, quantity, starting bid, # of bids, location, countdown to close, start date, end date, seller userid & feedback, high bidder userid & feedback.

Registration Verification

• When creating a new user account, the user is sent an email with a verification code which is used to verify that the email address is real. The user then can just click on the provided link and enter their password to verify their account.

Dutch Auctions

• In addition to standard auctions, users may now choose to sell multiple Items Dutch style!

Buy It Now!

• An optional selling preference, where the user can choose to purchase the item at a set price.

Authorize.Net

• Full support for merchant account. Users may pay their invoice with either credit cards or echecks instantly.
• Require Payment Upfront
• An option to force users to pay their invoices before their Item gets posted. Also automatically charges any final percentage fees when an Item sells.

PayPal

• Full integration with PayPal payments.
• Users may elect to pay their invoices directly using their PayPal account which directly updates the auction billing system!

Image Upload ready

• With the separate purchase of rwUpload you can plug into the functionality of Image Uploading to an auction from a web browser!

Seller Item Edit

• Sellers can make changes to their Items after logging in. Depending on the state of the auction the seller can make most changes including Adding/Deleting/Reordering images. The administrator can choose to charge for the new fees up-front or bill them to the seller’s invoice.

Multiple Image Uploads

• A thumbnail display system allows pictures to be organised with a large main picture and selectable thumbnails that can be enlarged.
• The Administrator can control the maximum number of pictures allowed, the number of free images, the number of premium images, and the fee to charge for each picture.

Fixed Price Auctions

• With fixed price Buyers can purchase an Item or Items immediately using Buy It Now without waiting for the auction to end. This feature may optionally be turned off by the administrator.

Classified Ads

• This sale type is just what you would think it is. A simple advertisement with a description and pictures but no bidding. Pricing is determined by the number of words in a description and can be charged weekly with optional discounts. An entire classified discount system is built in with optional flat rate packages. The administrator can optionally make classified ads unavailable.

Automatic Re-listing

• Sellers can optionally choose the number times they would like their item to be posted if it does not sell.

Banner Rotator

• Banners are randomly selected to be displayed. Complete setup through the admin control panel - add an unlimited # of banners and keep track of impressions and clicks for each one.

PayPal Payment Link for Sellers

• Sellers may optionally enter their PayPal address to add a payment link button to their auction item.

Add to Watch List

• Registered users can bookmark items to their watch list and view later in My Auction.

Mail This Auction to a Friend

• Users may use the built in email feature to send item links to their friends.

Discount / Promo System

• A discount code generator encrypts a user email address with a customizable discount level to give the user an automatic % off when selling items.

Trade Sale Type

• Post an item for trade and accept or reject offers from other’s users.

Batch Payment Processing

• A billing option that automatically charges the balance due on selected user’s monthly invoice. Select the day of the month and an optional additional fee.

Fee Ranges

Rating

• Rating based award for the sellers. For every 25 positive ratings (good feedbacks) from the buyers, will provide them with 3 free alerts for anything they signup for.

Auto Re-New

• Auto re-new feature for business directory or homepage advertising users. With this feature turned on, it will automatically deduct the amount from their account each month. They have the option to turn this feature on/off; doing so would mean they have to provide their bank details again. If possible save their details so all they have to do is turn the feature on, saving them have to provide their details again.

Number of Registered Users

• Display the number of registered users and users shopping/browsing online.

Integration with Mobile Technology

• Allow users to make payments via SMS.

Business Directory

• I need to have this as a web application as well as downloadable program. Users have the option/choice whether to download the application or just view it online. I need the users to be able to navigate through each and every business easily and effectively.

Online Calendar

• I need users to be able to send out “reminder alerts” as a SMS to their own phone. This feature could be used as a reminder about birthdays, meetings, shopping list etc. Again this service is chargeable per SMS. Special offer for users, for every 4 alerts within 30 days they get 1 free (to qualify it has to be within 30 days from your first alert). Also allow the users to store their reminders without sending out “reminder alert”. Again if you feel you can improve this in anyway, then do offer me your suggestions.
